QUIGLEY ROAD & QUIGLEY RANCH SUBDIVISION

Road Improvement & New Subdivision- Hailey, Idaho

In the summer of 2026, Burks Excavation began construction on the Quigley Road and Quigley Ranch Subdivision projects in Hailey, Idaho. This ongoing work consists of two major components: construction of a completely new paved roadway extending from the Quigley trailhead to the county line, and development of a complete infrastructure package serving the new Quigley Ranch Subdivision.

Construction of Quigley Road has required our crews to move more than 25,000 cubic yards of material to establish the new roadway subgrade and prepare the corridor for future paving. Within Quigley Ranch, Burks has installed nearly 9,000 feet of 4-inch to 8-inch pressure irrigation and potable water main, which will ultimately serve 23 future high end legacy style residential lots.

Quigley Ranch is unique in its size and layout, with each lot exceeding one acre and utility infrastructure extending across a large area relative to the number of homesites. The long mainline runs have allowed our crews to achieve some of our highest utility production rates to date, with peak days exceeding 900 feet of waterline installed and backfilled in a single day.

Upcoming work includes installation of storm drain infrastructure throughout both projects, along with two 30,000-gallon fire-water cisterns serving the subdivision. With paving scheduled for October 2026, our team looks forward to completing Quigley Road and wrapping up another successful subdivision project in Hailey.
